Honiton Library is a friendly library placed in the centre of the community. There is a welcoming foyer area with seating and a separate Reference library with public computers and tables at which you can work or sit and relax with a book or the newspaper.

The library houses a wide selection of books, DVDs and audiobooks that can be issued using the self-service machines. You can also request an item from another library for a small charge if you can’t find what you’re looking for. We have a Local History section in the reference library if you want to learn more about the area. In the bright and airy children’s library we run regular Bounce & Rhyme sessions and a lego club. For adults there is a weekly Keep Calm and Colour In group.

The Advice Centre, situated next door to the library, provides confidential interview space for the Citizens Advice Bureau (01404 44213). Relate (01392 275681), Pensionwise (0800 138 3944) and other voluntary agencies also meet in the library building. Appointments can be made through the numbers above.
